Are You A Butta Junkie?

Butta Junkie! A funny term I use if you asked me how I would I describe myself. We've got our  natural products junkie, natural enthusiasts, essential oils bae, so many names, but it's OK, because we all have one thing in common, we love nature! We love our bodies and our skin, and there are so many threats to our skin and body, we HAVE to protect it. We can try to eliminate certain toxins from our bodies by paying attention to what we eat, the environments we're in, what we are putting in our minds, and most importantly, how we are treating our skin.

Think about it. Smog, dust, allergens, dirt, little microscopic things we don't see, seeps deep into our pores causing our skin to react, go crazy, and have breakouts. Just like how greasy food toxins sit in your gut, or tobacco smoke poisoning your lungs, etc. We must pay attention and take care of ourselves. 

The Butta Guru is working on the body within by eliminating meat from her diet (a journey within itself), and is trying to live a more spiritual life, but I absolutely love love love natural body butters, soaps, deodorants, scrubs, etc. I have a whole spa cabinet at home because of the many natural products I use or have tried.

 It's also about opening your mind to more natural products. Trying something different. A natural product that works for one may not always work for another. Believe me, I've had my trial and error moments, especially in the case of finding a natural deodorant, but eventually I found something that worked for me. To elaborate, my pits are not too fond of baking powder based natural deodorants. I say that to say, don't give up and keep seeking that natural product for you!

So continue to educate yourselves on the benefits of natural products, experiment, and find what works best for your bodies. The same way with what we eat and drink! You can't knock something until you try. So be that Butta Junkie, Vegan Junkie, Juice Junkie, or whatever makes your happy.
