There's No Better Way to Celebrate Mother's Day...The Butta Guru's Body Butter Giveaway

  You enter into a contest, you follow the rules, you wait, and it's your lucky day, you WIN! Isn't winning a wonderful feeling? I know it is for me! What's also a wonderful feeling is me giving the opportunity for someone to experience the amazing ALL Natural body butters I craft.

  This year on the eve of one of my favorite holidays, in honor of Mothers Day, your Butta Guru had a fantastic giveaway on Instagram! I gave away 4- 2 ounce jars of my ALL Natural Body Butters. I mixed the types and scents to give the winner a chance to sample the different smells, textures, and the benefits the different butter blends have to offer. 

  The rules to the giveaway were simple. First, Like my post about this particular giveaway on Instagram (@buttaguru). Next, You could also tag a friend and those friends were then entered into the contest as well. Finally, as a part of the giveaway, contestants were asked to share their favorite scent, butters, oils etc. You know, tell The Butta Guru what you like?! I was excited, people were responding, Giveaway Set! Not a huge turnout but that did not bother me. I was motivated and just really excited to see the responses to get a chance to give away some BUTTA!!

  That changed briefly because at 5pm today the giveaway was ending and I had to pick the winner. Prior to the announcement, let me tell you, I was a bottle of nerves! Your Butta Guru is camera shy and I was preparing for a live IG video! I did a stress test on my phone and the results were through the roof, LOL! I absolutely hate public speaking. I get nervous and start rambling, speaking fast, losing my train of thought. So many things going on in my brain, but it's OK. Over the years, I have tried to find ways to manage it. This particular time I took a step back, burned a little sage to set the mood. I then did a little breathing exercise, and was ready. 

Action, I made it through!

  During my vid, I love talking about my butters! I love sharing with the world my craft and experiences in hopes of passing on what I know about the benefits of nature and all natural products. Maybe encourage more to hop on the natural products train. 

So after chatting about me and my products, the time came, I had to pick a name out of my bag and announce the winner.

 Success!

I'm so excited and can't wait to ship these body butters off. To add to the excitement, I had already introduced a new product I crafted, my Coco Shea Body Butter Stick, and pulled another name out of my bag. This coco- shea blend is so smooth and moisturizing on the skin. I was dying to share this product with someone, so I gifted a second winner with some more of my awesome butter!

Thank you all who participated in my giveaway. I plan to have another again soon! I've also been very grateful for all the love and support I have been receiving during this time. It hasn't been an easy road for everyone, me included. Things are happening in our world, our priorities are changing, some of use are stressed out, hours cut from work, or out of work all together. I'm praying that we all get through this. We will remain strong, we will remain vigilant, and we will take care of ourselves. Remember what we eat, what we drink, and what we put on our skins is important. Be true to you, and your skin too!
